CRYSTALLINE WATERPROOFING SYSTEM

Reinforced concrete structures are always used in the building construction of basements, water tanks, and swimming pools. So, the accumulation of water in the soil and its infiltration into the below ground concrete leads to cracks, subsidence, and erosion of concrete and steel reinforcement, which leads to damage to the foundation and the building. Since they are often in permanent contact with the water contained in the ground, they must be waterproofed and protected from aggressive agents that could potentially compromise their durability over the years. it is constantly exposed to high hydrostatic pressure. They need also to withstand a constant battering from the elements and leaking is common after a few years.

CRYSTALLINE WATERPROOFING ADMIXTURE

Integral waterproofing for concrete by crystallization technology, where the concrete becomes self-waterproof, durable, and protects reinforcing steel against corrosion. The crystalline waterproofing admixture is active until the building reaches the end of its useful life. When Crystalline materials are mixed with fresh concrete the active material reacts with cement and self-heling the cracks and voids of the concrete by forming nanocrystals. These nanocrystals are non-soluble and active for the life of the concrete, which protects the concrete in depth against the ingress of water and other corrosive agents penetrating.

The crystalline system contributes to reducing the time of construction in comparison to the traditional systems and extend the concrete life time.

CRYSTALLINE WATERPROOFING COATING

Whether its above or below ground, the crystalline waterproofing coating is utilized for waterproofing and concrete protection. The technology applied to the positive or negative side of the concrete surface, if moisture appears, the active crystalline substance deeply penetrates the concrete structure. The ensuing chemical reaction is self-heling the cracks and voids of the concrete by forming nanocrystals, which prevents water and water-borne chemicals from entering, even under high hydrostatic pressure. Cracks that develop during the lifetime of the concrete are self-healed, resulting in permanent integral concrete protection.

The crystalline coating waterproofing is used on all new or old structurally sound concrete surfaces and the waterproofing properties stay intact, even if the coating is partially removed or small cracks develop after the application.
